Our investment universe consists of approximately 6,000 companies ranging in market cap size of $10m to $10b. We are “Buffett” type analysts that attempt to identify and invest in attractively priced solid businesses that have a large margin of safety and low analyst and investor expectations. These two conditions help prevent our ideas from producing losses of capital. Our investment process starts by systematic and rigorous database screening and qualitative analysis on hundreds of overlooked, under followed small and mid cap companies. In addition, we utilize our extensive network of buyside investment professionals to uncover additional ideas.

Buyside Custom Research & Consulting is a private investment service focused on providing independent, fundamental “BuySide” research. We specialize in small and mid cap companies that are under followed and/or out of favor. We have a long-term horizon and look to identify investment opportunities “in great businesses rather than popular stocks”.
